Picard Excavating is now hiring! We are currently searching for qualified candidates for two positions.
- Full Time Class A Driver
- Full Time Laborer
Both Positions offer excellent pay and benefits.
CLASS A DRIVER
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Will be responsible for driving a combination tractor/trailer unit pulling a side dump.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Must be motivated and excel in problem solving
- Must also have good sense of direction and ability to listen to and follow instructions
- Side dump experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual
- Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations are required
QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSES REQUIRED
- Must have a clean driving record and be insurable
- Class A CDL is required
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
EXCELLENT BENEFITS
- Health Insurance after 90 days of employment
- Retirement after 90 days of employment
- One week PTO per year after one year of employment, and two weeks of PTO after five years of employment
SALARY RANGE/STARTING WAGE:
- $25-$29/hour depending on experience
- Plus overtime opportunities!
LABORER
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
- Will be responsible for helping dirt crews complete sewer and water installation as well as foundation digs
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Must be motivated to learn and progress with the dirt industry standards
- Must be able to listen to instructions and problem solve
- Basic equipment experience is a plus but not required
QUALIFICATIONS/LICENSES REQUIRED
- Must have a drivers license and be insurable
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
EXCELLENT BENEFITS

- Retirement after 90 days of employment
- One week PTO per year after one year of employment, and two weeks of PTO after five years of employment
SALARY RANGE/STARTING WAGE:
- $20 or more per hour depending on experience
- Plus overtime opportunities!
