featured listing: aquatics lead

 The Aquatics Lead is responsible for assisting the Aquatics Director in the management of the Aquatics areas and the Aquatics staff. 


REQUIREMENTS: 

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply. 

• 1-2 years related experience is preferred, (starting pay determined on experience.)

• Lifeguard Certified applicants preferred. If not certified, selected candidate must be able to pass a swimming/skills test, a Lifeguard Certification course within 30 days of hire.


DESCPRIPTION OF DUTIES: 

• Assists in recruiting, training, developing, evaluating, scheduling, and directing aquatics personnel and volunteers as needed. Ensuring coverage in all aquatic areas and filling in where necessary. 

• Serves as lead staff person for Aquatics Staff and ensures consistent, superior service procedures to maximize member enrollment and program participation. 


HOURS: 

• Full Time 40+ hours/week.

•  Flexible schedule while following pool schedule and ensuring coverage.

•  OR Part-Time 20-35 Hours/week. Flexible schedule while following pool schedule and ensuring coverage.

The Program Director monitors the YMCA facility and programs, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all members, guests, and participants by way of membership policy enforcement. 


DESCPRIPTION OF DUTIES: 

• Serves as Management Staff for evening and weekend business hours. 

• Assists in shift or program coverage for various departments as needed including but not limited to Training Center, Aquatics, Service Desk, In-Y Daycare, Sports, Group Exercise, Climbing Wall, Maintenance, etc. 


HOURS: 

 • Full Time 40+ hours/week. 

 • Tuesday through Friday 12PM-9PM and Saturday 8AM-5PM

Featured Listing: triangle y camp counselors

Triangle Y Camp Counselors supervise, engage, and interact with youth participating in a summer overnight camp as well as assist with planning and implementing the program activities. 


REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be at least 17 years old.  

• Must be able to live on-site throughout the summer (meals included.) 

• Must be able to pass a background check.   


 DESCPRIPTION OF DUTIES: 

• Mentoring and leading children in camp related various activities.  

• Supervising children in camp cabins, ensuring safety and wellbeing of the youth. 

• Assists in the implementation of program areas such as lifeguard, tower belaying, stable hand, arts and crafts, archery, sports field, etc.  


HOURS: 

 • Seasonal Residency at Triangle Y Camp in Garrison, ND. June 1 – Aug 4, 2023 

 • Minimum of 5 weeks preferred. 


*Must be able to live on-site throughout the summer with meals included.

featured listing: day and kinder camp counselors

Day and Kinder Camp Counselors supervise, engage, and interact with youth participating in our summer Day and Kinder Camps as well as assist with planning and implementing the program activities. 


REQUIREMENTS:

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old to apply.

•  Have a passion for working with children 

•  Ability to work in an outdoor setting during camp season June 5 - August 4, 2023 


DESCPRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• Supervise, lead, guide, motivate and consistently interact with a group of 10-20 campers.

• Follow planned schedule of activities and arrive at each session promptly. Works in conjunction with outside organizations for activities.

• Create a positive rapport and shared interest with all youth; model relationship-building skills in all interactions.


HOURS: 

 • Kinder Camp: M-F 8:30-1:30PM, June 5 – August 4, 2023

• Day Camp: M-F 8:30-4:30PM, June 5 – August 4, 2023
